Caesar Rodney School District announces ‘Teacher Of The Year’ nominees

Officials say teachers from all twelve of the Caesar Rodney School District schools have been nominated to represent both, their students and staff as the 2016-2017 Building Teachers of the Year.

One of these teachers will become the district’s ‘Teacher of the Year’ in May.

Following, the educator will then compete in October against educators from across the state to become State Teacher of the Year.

A list of the outstanding educators nominated are as follows:

Mandi Christensen (Simpson Elementary); Danielle Deinert (Stokes Elementary); Brittany Fox (Postlethwait Middle); Samantha Gustafson (Brown Elementary); Dwayne Lavender (Fifer Middle); Celia Moran (Allen Frear); Stephanie Morrison (Charlton); Jeani Preszler (Star Hill Elementary); Melissa Rapp (CRHS); Maia Scott (Welch Elementary); Jennifer Torgerson (DAFB Middle); and Kim Webb (McIlvaine ECC).
