Average gas price now above $2.00 in Maryland

For the first time in over a year, motorists across the country are paying over $2.00/gallon according to AAA.  Drivers in Maryland are paying the same as the national average, which is sitting at $2.03 as of Friday.

Some good news, though, for drivers on parts of Delmarva.  Salisbury boasts one of the lowest average prices per gallon in the state at $1.90.  AAA also shows Delaware’s state average at $1.90.  The report shows gas prices have risen about $0.30 in just the past month.
