Worcester Co. Sheriff searching for wanted sex offender

Tymir Denard Johnson, 31, of Berlin, Md.

Authorities in Worcester County are looking for help in locating a wanted sex offender.

The Worcester County Sheriff’s Office Sex Offender Monitoring Unit says they are searching for 31-year-old Tymir Johnson, of Berlin. He was apparently last seen at his house on December 17, 2015, during a home visit by a Parole and Probation agent, along with a Detective from the Sheriff’s Office.

Since then, Officials say neither agency has been able to find Johnson, despite multiple attempts. Authorities say Johnson is a child sex offender and a sexually violent offender, who served seven years of a 15 year sentence.

There are now apparently warrants out for Johnson for failing to register and violation of probation. Anyone with information about this incident is asked to contact the Worcester County Sheriff’s Office at 410-632-1111.
