UPDATE: Two men wanted in Horntown murder

Two men are now wanted by the Accomack County Sheriff’s office in connection with the murder of Robert Baytops IV.

Authorities say Tavone Cropper, 24, of Pocomoke City, MD, and Jahad Triggs, 20, of New Church, VA, are both wanted one one count each of first degree murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

The Accomack County Sheriff’s Office says just after midnight on Thursday, Deputies responded to a home on Raymond Townsend Lane in Horntown, for reports of a shooting. Once on scene, Investigators say they found 22-year-old Robert Baytops IV, of Horntown, suffering from an apparent gunshot wound outside of the home.

Baytops was then apparently rushed to Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, where he later died.
