UPDATE: New details released in Salisbury barricade situation

Ali Bradley, 33, of Salisbury, Md.

New details have been released, in the investigation into a man who apparently barricaded himself inside of a Salisbury home on Thursday.

According to court documents obtained by 47 ABC, around 11:00 AM 33-year-old Ali Bradley was seen driving erratically near East Church Street, in Salisbury. Police say they began to follow the car, and that’s when Bradley apparently took off, speeding down the road.

During the chase, Bradley allegedly ran multiple stop signs, and eventually ended up on a dead end street. That’s where court documents say he bailed out of the car, jumped a privacy fence, and broke into the home on Justice Avenue. Court documents say Bradley barricaded himself inside the home. Authorities apparently had to clear the house of two adults, and two kids.

After about an hour and a half, Bradley was found upstairs in the attic, buried underneath insulation, and he eventually exited on his own, without incident, according to authorities. He was then taken into custody. We’re told no one was injured in this incident.

Court documents say a passenger, 32-year-old Micah Blue, was left in Bradley’s car, after he fled. During a search of the vehicle, authorities apparently found a digital scale with a white substance that Police say is suspected heroin. Bradley reportedly had $8,000 cash on him, and a suspended license, while Blue had about $2,630 cash on him. No weapons were recovered from the pick-up truck, or the home, according to Maryland State Police.

Both Blue and Bradley are now charged in the case. Bradley is facing fourth degree burglary, drug and paraphernalia possession, and multiple traffic violations. Blue is charged with drug and paraphernalia possession. Both men were apparently out on parole, and are now being held at the Wicomico County Detention Center.

Investigators say they believe that Bradley is associated with the residents of the Justice Avenue home, but that Bradley never lived at the house, and didn’t have permission to enter. He also apparently damaged the house during the break-in, and stand-off. Police say their investigation is continuing.
