Dorchester County Sheriff’s Department says they have finally captured a suspect in connection to numerous burglaries in the Madison and Cambridge areas.

Authorities say Kevin Osborne, 47, of Alexandria, Va., led officers on the high speed chase stemmed from a burglary that occurred in the the Madison area of Dorchester County earlier this week.

Osborne was reportedly attempting another burglary in Cambridge, when the chase began.

Both Cambridge Police, and Maryland State Police assisted with the chase through the city.

Cambridge Police were then able to stop the suspect, deflating the car tires with “stop sticks”.

Police say they arrested Osborne on the scene, and he now faces a slew of felony charges. Officers say they found a shotgun in his vehicle.

Dorchester County Sheriff’s officers say he is in jail on $200,000 bond for burglary and theft charges, and $500,000 on assault charges.
