Tying the knot

Sunday, 47 ABC was able to catch a bunch of people say “I do” down at the Dunes Manor Hotel in Ocean City, Md.

Power 101.7 sponsored the event called “your shot to tie the knot.”

Over the past few months participants entered for their chance to win a big day, all paid for by the radio station.

Right before the big moment, we were able to catch up with one groom, Hebr Johnson, and ask him why he decided to tie the knot.

“She’s beautiful, man. I’m glad she came into my life. She turned my life around a lot. I was on the road to destruction, nah mean? She came in, calmed me down, brought me out of the streets, been there for me,” Johnson said.

47 ABC wishes all the couples who tied the knot on Valentine’s Day a long and happy marriage.
