Two arrested during Dorchester Co undercover drug operation

Two men were arrested during an under cover drug investigation in Dorchester County.

The Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office says on January 14, with help from the Cambridge Police Department and the Dorchester County Narcotics Task Force, they started an undercover buy operation in Cambridge.

That investigation reportedly led to the arrest of 24-year-old Anthony Watkins, of Cambridge, and 24-year-old Kenderick Herbert, of Trappe.

Watkins was charged with distribution of a counterfeit narcotic, and possession of heroin and ordered to be held on a $7,500 bond, while Herbert was charged with possession of cocaine, possession with intent to distribute cocaine, and distribution of cocaine. He was then ordered held without bond.
