Three arrested on drug charges during Georgetown traffic stop

Three men are facing charges, after Police say they found drugs during a traffic stop.

The Georgetown Police Department says on Wednesday, with help from the Ellendale Police Department, they pulled over a car on Route 113. During the stop, the Officers say they smelled marijuana, and asked the driver, Teuntay Drummond, 22, of Milford, and his two passengers, Deion White, 20, of Ellendale, and William Drummond Jr, 20 of Dagsboro, to get out of the vehicle.

Police say while the three were outside, White ran from the area, but was apprehended a short time later. During the search, Police say they found 421 bags or of suspected heroin, about 2 grams of suspected marijuana, .9mm and .38 special ammunition, and about $1,500 in suspected drug proceeds in the car.

All three men were then arrested, and charged with possession with the intent to deliver tier 5 quantity of heroin, possession of tier 5 quantity of heroin, conspiracy second degree, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Both Drummonds, and White are prohibited from having ammunition, so they were additionally charged with possession of ammunition by person prohibited.

White was also charged with resisting arrest, he is being held on $38,750 secured bail.

Teuntay Drummond is now incarcerated on $55,351 secured bail, while William Drummond is being held on $30,250 secured bail.
