Sea Gulls Fly Circles Around The Red Hawks

The No. 5 SU men’s lacrosse team tallied their second straight impressive win Saturday when they blew out No. 20 Montclair St. 23-7. The win improves the Sea Gulls to 3-0.

The Red Hawks would jump out to a quick 1-0 lead less than a minute into the game, but the Sea Gulls came firing back. Nathan Blondino would send home two of his 5 goals in the first quarter as SU would take a 5-2 lead into the second quarter. There SU continued to add to their lead as Carson Kalama would add a pair of score. The lead quickly grew to double figures in the 3rd after 4 straight scores from Kalama. SU would then ride the strength of their defense to the win.

Salisbury University returns to work on Feb. 27 when they travel to Gettysburg.
