Salisbury police are doing their part to honor two fallen deputies from the Harford County Sheriff’s Department.  A group of officers including a K-9 attended the funeral of Deputy Patrick Dailey.

Just three days later, they will be attending the funeral of Deputy Mark Logsdon who was killed responding to the same call.  Salisbury PD says it’s important to show support for the officer’s families, and to honor their service.

Lieutenant Howard Drewer of Salisbury PD will attend Logsdon’s funeral and says that they recognize the dangers that are out there, and that each call that any officer takes could be their last.  Drewer adds that in the end being a law enforcement officer is a commitment, and stresses the importance of supporting each other through tough times.
