Police: Pedestrian hospitalized after collision with police cruiser

A man was hospitalized Saturday evening after he reportedly ran into the roadway and was struck by a police cruiser, authorities announced Sunday.
According to the Maryland State Police Easton Barrack, the collision happened around 8:43 p.m. Saturday on 200 Delaware Avenue in Hurlock.
We’re told the pedestrian, identified as 30-year-old Joseph Frambes, was dressed in all black when he ran into the roadway and was struck by a cruiser. Police say Frambes, who is suspected of being intoxicated at the time, suffered a broken leg and “was combative with EMT’s”.
He was flown to Shock Trauma due to his injuries.
Maryland State Police say no charges have been filed at this time. The investigation continues.
