Police investigating string of burglaries at Treadway Towers

Dover Police are investigating a series of burglaries that occurred inside the Treadway Towers Complex on East Loockerman Street on Friday evening.

According to police, the burglaries happened between 9 p.m. and 10:10 p.m. Friday. The suspect reportedly attempted to enter through a back fire escape but failed.

Police say instead, he entered the main doors.  Once inside the building, the suspect forced his way into multiple offices including Advantage Travel, Delaware Grange, Mutual Insurance Company, Tranquil Spirit and Spa, and Greater Dover Boys and Girls Club.

Authorities say about 400 dollars worth of damage was caused to two of the doors.
