Maryland State Trooper arrested for assault

State Police in Maryland say a Trooper has been suspended after he was arrested over the weekend in Dorchester County and charged with assault.

According to MSP, Trooper Kenneth N. Moore was suspended from duty with pay by an MSP commander after he was charged with one count of 2nd-degree Assault on Saturday February 27 by Cambridge Police. 

MSP say they were notified by the Cambridge Police Department that from Moore’s wife called in a complaint for assault on Saturday.

The MSP Internal Affairs Unit was notified and has initiated an administrative investigation, however the criminal investigation is being conducted by the Cambridge Police Department.
