Kent Island holds off late North Caroline run

The Kent Island Buccaneers protected home court in the playoffs, defeating the North Caroline Bulldogs 76-67 on Friday night in Stevensville.

The Bucs led for most of the game, leading 38-29 at the half, and 57-42 after three. The Bulldogs cut the lead to 66-61 late in the fourth, only for Kent Island to pull away late.

The Buccaneers move to face county rival Queen Anne’s on Monday.
