Information sought in Salisbury home arson and burglary investigation

Investigators in Salisbury are looking for information, after a home was apparently broken into, and set fire to.

The Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office says on Wednesday around 3:15 PM, the caretaker of a vacant North Pinehurst Avenue home, discovered there had been several fires set inside. Damages are estimated around $1,100.

Investigators say the incident involved the burglary of a vacant home, where multiples fires were apparently set on the first floor in both the living and dining rooms, of the two story dwelling. Salisbury Police are assisting in the investigation.
