Huge Win for Queen Anne’s Over Rival Kent Island

Queen Anne’s hosted rival Kent Island Thursday night and won a tough battle 69-65. 

It was an action packed match right from the get go with each team scoring enough to keep it a tight locked match-up throughout. In the first quarter Queen Anne’s outscored Kent Island, but not by much; 18-14. In the second quarter they both scored 15 each to keep it close. 

Queen Anne’s was led by Juwan Moore with 18pts and 16 rebounds, while Ahmad Gray and Charles Hynson each had 14pts. Kent Island was led by Ben Young with 24 pts and Tariq Johnson with 17pts. 

Each team now awaits for the playoffs seeding to be announced on Tuesday.
