Hawks execute against Delaware State

The UMES men’s basketball team snapped a five game losing streak, avenging an earlier season loss to Route 13 rival Delaware State with a 74-65 win on Saturday afternoon.

Senior Dom Elliott scored a game-high 20 points for the Hawks, while pulling down 5 rebounds. Reserve guard Thomas Mason-Rivera scored 14 points, while Ryan Andino and Derrico Peck each scored 12. For the Hornets, Devin Morgan finished with 20.
