Easton Wins Ugly At Bennett

It wasn’t pretty, but it will get the job done. Easton earned a road win Tuesday night when they traveled to Bennett and pulled out a 58-52 win. The win improves the Warriors to 11-7, while the loss drops the Clippers to 2-16.

The teams would be in a battle early on as the Clippers would take a 17-13 lead into the second quarter. There the Warriors would respond to take a small lead into half time. The teams continued to exchange baskets in the third quarter as Ryan Farr began to get going for Easton. Nasir Smith would set him up for a couple scores, while Chris Guy was also able to add a couple buckets. Bennett then clawed back to pull within a single point after Ernest Ayieko converted an and 1 for 3 of his game high 25 points. Bennett would have the ball down 2 with 30 seconds left before a turnover that would lead to a run out an and 1 by Farr to put the game away.
