Early morning Salisbury fire under investigation

An early morning fire is under investigation after flames caused about 5,000 dollars worth of damage to a Salisbury home, officials announced Sunday.
According to the Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office, the fire happened around 5:32 a.m. Sunday at a single-story home located on the 600 block of North Westover Drive.
Officials say the origin of the fire was the exterior of the dwelling, which was reportedly discovered by a person passing by.
We’re told 15 firefighters responded to the fire, which took about 10 minutes to control.
There were no injuries from the incident; however, the Maryland State Fire Marshal reports a preliminary cause of the fire was incendiary.
