Dover remains undefeated in conference with win over Cape Henlopen

The boys basketball team from Dover traveled to Cape Henlopen Tuesday night to take on the Vikings in a conference match-up. Dover had an undefeated conference record on the line and Cape Henlopen was looking to spoil that. Dover ended up being victorious and won 47-35. 

It was a close match-up throughout the night, but it wasn’t until the 4th quarter that the Senators were able to break away and outscore the Vikings 14-5. 

Dover had three 3-pointers throughout the night, two by Jordan Allen, and one by Michael Douglas. Cape had 2 2-pointers, one by J.R Yeates, and another by Ian Robertson. 

Up next for the Senators, they travel to take on St. Andrews on Thursday, while Cape has a home game Wednesday night against Sussex Tech.
