Charges pending in three vehicle Frederica crash

Police say they are investigating a three vehicle crash, that left several people injured in Sunday night.
Delaware State Police say around 7:45 PM, 27-year-old Raed Mesilus, of Laurel, was driving a 2007 Honda Accord, on Bay Road, near North Frederica Road. According to the report, for unknown reasons, Mesilus crossed over the center median into the southbound lanes.
At the same time, Police say 28-year-old Michael Lue, of Chesapeake, Virginia was driving a 2013 Chrysler Town and Country and 43-year-old Ralph Seward, of Milford was driving a 2003 Saturn Vue, each in the southbound lanes, when the Accord crossed into their lanes, colliding with both vehicles.
Mesilus was apparently wearing a seat belt, and was taken to Bayhealth Kent General Hospital, where he was admitted with undetermined injuries. Police say charges of third offense driving under the influence, two counts of vehicular assault second degree, failure to have insurance in possession, and failure to remain within a single lane, are pending, once he is released.
Lue and Seward were apparently both wearing seat belts at the time of the crash, and were each taken to area hospitals with undetermined injuries.
Police say Route 1 was closed at Barratts Chapel Road for about two hours, while the crash was investigated, and cleared.
