The Dorchester County Sheriff’s Office says on February 9, members of the Dorchester County Narcotics Task Force searched a home on Canvasback Way, in Cambridge. Authorities state that Emerson Smulle, the target of the investigation, wasn’t home at the time of the search. Officials say during the search they recovered 4.5 grams of raw heroin, a .32 caliber loaded handgun, 1.2 grams of marijuana, various CDS paraphernalia, and $4,036 in cash.
Smullen was later arrested, in another part of Cambridge. He was then charged with possession of heroin, possession with intent to distribute heroin, possession of paraphernalia, and possession of a firearm while involved in drug trafficking. Smullen is now being held without bond at the Dorchester County Detention Center.
