Black History Month exhibit on display at UMES

At UMES, a celebration of “Contemporary African American Art” is the focus of their Black History Month Exhibit.
The display, which opened up on Thursday, features art from African-American artists in the Baltimore-Washington area.
The exhibit is titled “History Continues”.
“This is really kind of a first for us. Some very cutting edge contemporary work and things that people often don’t see on the eastern shore,” said Susan Holt, Director of the Mosely Gallery.
To check out the art for yourself, you can stop by UMES’s Mosely Gallery from 9AM to 5PM between now and March 10th.
