Bed bugs found in Dorchester Co. elementary school

In Dorchester County, school officials confirm *bed bugs* were found at Sandy Hill Elementary School.

According School Superintendent Dr. Henry Wagner, the bed bugs were isolated to a select amount of a students.

The bugs were apparently brought into the school, and officials say there is not an infestation.

As for the children that had the bed bugs, we’re told they were sent home, and their parents were given instructions on how to find and treat bed bugs.

Dr. Wagner says the students will have to be cleared by a school official before returning to class.
