Acorn Market moving to Riverview Commons building

A local restaurant is getting a bigger home. Acorn Market is set to move to the heart of downtown Salisbury. They have been in their current location for 8 years now and owner Christine Braughler is excited for a new building.

The new building, located in the Riverview Commons, located on West Main Street is currently under construction. While their current location has a small farm-house feel, their new building will be much bigger, allowing them to seat up to 85 people. Braughler says they’ll be adding breakfast to their menu, increasing their specials, and adding more soups.

Braughler says, “We’ll be able to meet the demands of our customers the line wont be going out the door everybody will have a place to sit. Normally people only have a half-an hour or an hour for lunch and it’ll be efficient, we’ll still get our old customers as well.”

Braughler says they will be located on the first floor of the Riverview Commons and will be sharing their space with Angello’s gifts. They hope to open their doors on May 1st.
