DSP investigates Waffle House robbery

Some scary new years eve moments for a restaurant employee late last night as the Waffle house has been robbed for a second time in a week, Delaware State Police are investigating.

According to police, around 11 PM, four men stormed the waffle house on South DuPont highway.

Troopers say at least two of those men were armed with guns. The suspects reportedly pointed the guns at the employee and demanded cash.

She complied and the suspects ran off with the cash, the employee was not injured during the robbery.There are no surveillance photos available at this time.

According to reports, this same waffle house location was robbed early Christmas eve morning.

The suspects were described as four black males, 5’9″-6’02″” tall, between 160-180 lbs., wearing dark colored hooded sweatshirts, dark colored pants, black gloves, with their hoods pulled up in attempts to cover their faces.
