UPDATE: Reported smoke at Ocean City Elementary not related to bomb threats

Officials with Worcester County Public Schools confirm to 47 ABC the reports of smoke in Ocean City Elementary turned out to be HVAC related and in no way related to the bomb threat this morning.

This comes after, officials confirmed there was a bomb threat to the school this morning. Both students and the staff were evacuated earlier today as fire crews were on scene.

However, now we’re told students were evacuated again, to the building’s gymnasium and parents are able to pick up their kids at this time, but officials say school will resume normal operations when they can.
