UPDATE: Juvenile charged in Stephen Decatur bomb threat incident

Investigators say they have charged a student, in a bomb threat investigation at a local high school.

The Worcester County Bureau of Investigation says their investigation into the call that was received by an employee at Stephen Decatur High School, stating that a bomb was on school grounds. The school was then evacuated, and fire and law enforcement personnel responded to the scene, before the WCBI assumed the investigation.

WCBI says that during their investigation, they found that the suspect was a juvenile student at the school.

On Thursday, Investigators say they arrested the student, and charged them with arson/threat, and disturbing school activities or personnel. The suspect is now being held at the Lower Eastern Shore Children’s Center in Salisbury, Maryland.
