UPDATE: Hebron house fire under investigation

Authorities in Wicomico County are still investigating a fire that happened Wednesday night on Opal Circle, in Hebron.

Reports say firefighters from at least three different companies were on scene to put out the blaze.

An elderly couple was home during the fire and were able to escape unharmed.

There has been no official word yet on an official cause, but the homeowners tell 47 ABC a wood stove exploded.

The owners expect the house to be a total loss,  but they remain in good spirits.
