Two women accused of assaulting a third with beer bottles in Milford

Two women are facing charges, after Police say they attacked a third woman, with beer bottles.

Milford Police say on January 17, Officers arrested 43-year-old Kimberly Green, of Frederica, and 46-year-old Glenda Vanderwende, of Hartly. While at the Park Place Restaurant and Lounge, Police say Green and Vanderwende walked up to a 34-year-old woman, who was outside on the patio, smoking. According to the report, Green and Vanderwende were armed with glass beer bottles, and started hitting the woman with the bottles.

Investigators tell 47 ABC that the dispute was over a mutual acquaintance.

Police say the victim suffered lacerations and a head injury, and was taken to a local hospital for treatment. Green and Vanderwende were charged with assault second degree, aggravated menacing, and disorderly conduct. They were then ordered to be held on secured bonds at the Baylor Women’s Correctional Institution.
