Tractor Taylor’s Triple-Dub Leads CSD Past KC

The Cambridge SD boys basketball team picked up their 7th straight win Tuesday night when they topped Kent County 67-56. The win improves the Vikings to 8-2, while the loss drops the Trojans to 6-6.

Cambridge would jump out to a quick double digit lead as Ivan Taylor would have 8 of his team high 18 points in the first quarter alone. He would finish with a career day, 19 points, 12 blocks, 11 rebounds and 5 assists. Manny Camper would then lead his team back in the second quarter. He would pour in a game high 20 points, while Shemar Turner would add 18 points and Marcquan Greene would add 13. But the Vikings continued to push in the second half as Dre Greene would add a couple jumpers, and Keyshawn Johnson would finish in double figures with 11 points.

Cambridge returns to work Thursday when they travel to play at Easton, while Kent County will host St. Michaels on Thursday.
