Teenager robbed at gunpoint in New Castle

(AP) – New Castle County Police are looking for a man who robbed a teenager at gunpoint.

It happened about 7:20 p.m. Thursday at Briarcliff Drive and Aquilla Drive, the department said in a news release.

Police say a 17-year-old was walking home when a man with a handgun confronted him.

Officers say the man demanded the youth’s belongs, and ran away after receiving them.
