Suspect sought following attempted robbery

Police are seeking the public’s help in finding a man they say attempted to rob a Dover hotel early Friday evening.
According to Delaware State Police, a man reportedly entered the Microtel Hotel on E. Lebanon Road around 5:30 p.m. Friday.
Once the suspect reached the counter, police say he began talking to the clerk before he brought out an unknown make and model handgun and demanded money.
We’re told the clerk did not comply.
The suspect then left and did not obtain any money. The clerk was not injured, according to police.
The suspect is described as a black male in his early 20’s, approximately 5’6″ to 5’8″ tall, weighing between 120 and 140 pounds with a small build. He last reportedly seen was wearing a dark colored hooded sweatshirt.
