SU Men’s Hoops Coast Past York

The Salisbury University men’s basketball team returned to work Wednesday night and coasted past York 75-56 for the win. The Sea Gulls improve to 9-3 on the year with the win.
The Sea Gulls opened up the game on fire from the field. Kyle Savercool scored the games opening bucket in the post, then Justin May would get into the action, hitting a couple outside shots while also getting to the rack. Defensively the Sea Gulls were able to force turnovers on the wing and get out and run for easy transition scores afterwards. Gordon Jeter would be doing it all; defending the Spartans best player in the post while also providing an offensive lift from the block and from the outside. The Sea Gulls quickly opened up a 20 point lead, and that proved to be too much for York to overcome.
Salisbury University returns to work Saturday when they travel to Mary Washington.
