Sending love from Salisbury to Philadelphia

Although she’s moved to New Jersey, Brooke Mulford, the young girl who was diagnosed with cancer six years ago, continues to inspire folks on Delmarva.

Sunday some of Brooke’s former teammates on the Salisbury Football Club and friends of her family rallied outside of the Kohl’s in Salisbury to sign a banner and give cards and presents to the nine-year-old.

Those gifts were then driven up to the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia where she is currently receiving treatment.

“Please continue to pray for Amy and Brooke. She’s beat it before twice, she’s had numerous miracles. Wasn’t supposed to survive this long, at all. So I definitely believe that there’s miracles that do happen and if anyone deserves it, it’s Brooke and Amy,” said Kelly Noonan, a friend of the family.

Brooke was diagnosed with neuroblastoma when she was just four years old.
