Police: Robbery investigation underway

Police are investigating after they say a male suspect robbed a Salisbury 7-Eleven shop.

According to authorities, the incident happened just before 9:00 p.m. Saturday on South Salisbury Boulevard.

An initial investigation has revealed that the suspect entered the store and approached the clerk.

We’re told he allegedly grabbed her and demanded money. Police say the clerk opened the register, and the suspect grabbed an undetermined amount of cash before fleeing.

Police describe the suspect as a black male between 35 and 40 years. We’re told he is about 6’0″ tall with a beard and mustache.

According to the surveillance video, the suspect also appears to be wearing a tan jacket and black pants.

Police say there was no weapon displayed and there were no injuries reported during the incident.
