Parsonsburg woman charged with DUI in Food Lion crash

A Parsonsburg woman was arrested on Sunday, after she apparently hit another vehicle in a grocery store parking lot, while driving drunk.

The Princess Anne Police Department says Officers responded to the Food Lion parking lot on Brittingham Lane, where 58-year-old Gail Ann White, collided with a parked car, when she was trying to park her own. Police say White was at fault in the accident.

She was then charged with failure to control speed to avoid collision, driving vehicle while so far impaired by drugs and alcohol that cannot drive safely, driving vehicle while impaired by alcohol, driving under the influence of alcohol per se, and driving while under the influence of alcohol.

White was later released, after receiving her citations, according to Police.
