No billion dollar winners in Md. but tier winners still in luck

The state of Maryland did not have a jackpot winner in Wednesday’s night Powerball drawing of $1.6 billion, but the state still had some lucky winners to earn big bucks.
Maryland Lottery officials say, there were three $1 million second-tier winners, 24 $50,000 third-tier winners and one $100,000 third-tier winner who purchased the Power Play option.
The retailers that the second-tier tickets were reportedly sold at was a Wawa in Frederick, a Walker Hill Amoco in Capitol Heights, and a 7-11 in Bladensburg.
The winning numbers in Wednesday night’s drawing were 4-8-19-27-34 and Powerball 10.
