Millsboro couple charged with manufacturing meth

A Millsboro couple has been charged, after Police say the were making meth.
Delaware State Police say on Thursday around 4:00 PM, members of the Georgetown Probation and Parole arrived at a home on Hickman Lane, to do a probation check on 53-year-old John Jones, who is on probation for a 2015 drug conviction. As probation officers were searching the home, they say they found various rounds of ammunition as well as equipment and component mixtures of the manufacturing stages of Meth along with key ingredients in making the drug.
Police say they then arrested Jones, and his girlfriend, 38-year-old Erica Wildes. Detectives with the Delaware State Police Sussex County Drug Unit, along with DNREC responded to the scene, in response to the on-going investigation into the manufacturing of meth at the house.
After their arrest, Jones and Wildes were taken to Troop 4, where they were charged with operating a clandestine laboratory, possession with intent to deliver a counterfeit controlled substance-meth, conspiracy 2nd , three counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of methamphetamine. Jones was additionally charged with two counts of possession of ammunition by a person prohibited.
Both were arraigned, and turned over to the Delaware Department of Corrections. Jones is being held on a $59,000 bond, while Wildes is on a $39,000 secured bond. Police say no evacuations were ordered, as there was not an immediate hazard to nearby residents.
Jones and Wildes were arrested back in February, at the same address, on similar charges.
