MD State Highway Administration is ready for snow storm

SHA crews are already out on the roads. They have 2, 700 snow removal trucks that are ready to be used.SHA is recommending folks to stay off the roads if it’s not a necessity.
One of their major concerns when clearing the roads is making it safe to drive for emergency personnel.
Bob Rager, the Maryland SHA Spokesperson says, “People might see clear pavements in a day or two. We should not have that expectation. What we’re looking to do during the storm and immediately after is to have at least one lane passable and we want to do that for emergency responders.”
People who are curious to see what the roads will look like during the storm can see live traffic cameras here.
