McAuliffe to make 2 economic development announcements

(AP) – Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe is set to unveil two economic development deals.
The governor is scheduled Friday to hold a news conference in Richmond then go to Roanoke to unveil two new deals. His office is not providing details about what companies are involved.
McAuliffe has made economic development his top priority as governor and has traveled to multiple countries trying to recruit new businesses to locate in Virginia.
He’s announced more than 550 new economic development projects, worth more than $9 billion in capital investment during his two years in office.
