Law enforcement appreciation day on Delmarva

Saturday was Law Enforcement Appreciation day and here on Delmarva, we were able to catch up with local organization Operation We Care.

The non-profit showed their support for local law enforcement in the form of subs and cake.

The organization delivered over 85 subs, plus cake, and drinks to five different police stations including Salisbury Police and Maryland State Troopers Salisbury Barrack.

“They support our community everyday, they go out there everyday and do their job. They’ve not had a lot of positive press recently and we just wanna let them know that we appreciate their efforts and going out there everyday and working on behalf of the community,” said Jeff Merritt.

There was also a fundraiser for law enforcement appreciation held at the Greene Turtle in Ocean City from Saturday night from 5 to 9.
