Jan. 29 – Nutritional Help

In the New Year many people want to make positive changes in their life and improve their diet but don’t know the best way to go about it.

1.       Little steps and small goals that are achievable work best, some examples;
     a.       Portion size
     b.      Making your meals colorful and less processed
     c.       Higher fiber foods
     d.      Increasing physical activity
     e.      Goal setting

2.       The government help’s us out by creating MyPlate and the recent publication of the 2015 US Dietary Guidelines.
