HomeGoods applies to occupy part of vacant J.C. Penney

A Revised Comprehensive Development Plan for modification of the space at the Centre at Salisbury, formerly occupied by J.C. Penney, has been submitted.
HomeGoods has applied to be one of a few vendors that will occupy the space.
According to an agenda posted from the City of Salisbury Planning and Zoning Commission, the space consists of 86, 222 sq. ft., and according to the agenda, HomeGoods plans to occupy 21,665 sq. ft. of that space.
Plans listed on the agenda include a new façade over/around the entrance, and a reliagment of parking spaces to include five barrier-free parking spaces, among other proposals.
As far as the appearance of the building, the exterior color will remain as-is.
Two additional tenants will also eventually occupy the space, with similar exterior layouts.
