Healthcare deadline extended for state employees

If you’re a Maryland state employee and missed the December 31st deadline to get your primary care co-pays waived this year as part of the state’s wellness program, don’t worry, your time has not run out.
Monday the Maryland Department of Budget and maintenance announced that employees who missed the deadline have their co-pays waived as soon as they do the following.
First, select a primary care physician. Second, complete a health risk assessment online. Then lastly,get your physician’s signature on a physician notification form showing that they saw the results of the risk assessment.
