Easton lifts Snow Emergency Phase

A snow emergency has been lifted in Easton. The Easton Police Department says on Monday at 3:00 PM the Snow Emergency Phase for the Town of Easton, was lifted.

Officials say that drivers should still use caution while traveling, and should be aware for icy conditions. Officials note that some secondary roads, alleys, and parking lots in town are still snow covered.

Easton Police say during the weekend’s storm, they responded to eight auto collisions, and 16 disabled motorists. They also apparently had to find more than two dozen vehicle owners, who didn’t move their cars from prohibited locations.
