Eagles Soar Past Clippers

The Snow Hill boys basketball team picked up another conference win at home Tuesday night when they defeated Bennett 75-26. The win improves the Eagles to 6-5, while the Clippers fall to 1-11.

The Eagles would come out of the gates running from the start. Takhia Wise, Ameer Fisher and DJ Thornton would come out with several steals on the wing and get out into transition for easy scores. Once the offense got going, they began to feed off their defense even more as the lead quickly swelled to double digits. The Clippers would finally start to get going as Bishop Scott would be able to add a couple buckets down low, but it wasn’t close to enough to get his team back in it.

Snow Hill returns to work Thursday when they host Mardela, while Bennett travels to Parkside on Thursday.
