DSP trooper tracks down robbery suspect by snow tracks

Delaware State Police say a trooper arrested an alleged robber after tracking him down through his footprints in the snow.

Corporal Gary Fournier tells us that 48-year-old Domonic Boston of Dover was taken into custody Sunday afternoon after allegedly threatening a man with a knife.

We’re told the victim had used an ATM at the Royal Farms on Lebanon road just before he was robbed.

After taking the victim’s cash, Boston reportedly ran towards a house in the Stone Ridge development when a trooper saw him and began to track him down.

“The trooper responded up to the area where the subject was last seen and noticed a pair of footprints in the snow. He followed the footprints over to residence in the development and was able to locate the suspect inside the house,” said Forunier.

We’re told Boston is facing 1st Degree Robbery and Possession of a Deadly Weapon During the Commission of a Felony charges.

He is being held at James T Vaughn Correctional Center on $40,000 bond.
