Dover Police investigating armed street robbery

The apparent armed robbery of a teenager is under investigation, in Dover.

Dover Police say on Tuesday, just before 12:15 AM, an 18-year-old man was walking on Maple Lane, near Delaware Avenue, when he was approached by a man. According to the report, the man then pointed a small handgun at the pedestrian, and demanded money.

Police say the suspect took the victim’s walled, cash, and cell phone, before fleeing the scene. Law enforcement don’t have much of a description of the suspect, only that he was a man, standing about 5′ 8″ tall, with a thin build, last seen wearing a dark jacket with denim chest pockets.
